Breastfeeding Dialogue for Spanish Speaking PatientsFor those of you who need to communicate with Spanish patients, this is a bit of dialogue you can use: The colostrum in your breasts is very nutritious for your baby.
El colostro en su pecho es muy nutritivo para su bebe. Please breastfeed your baby now. Its very important.
Por favor, puede alimentarlo dele el pecho a su bebe ahora. Es muy importante. How well is your baby breastfeeding?
Como esta tomando el pecho el bebe bien? How many minutes does your baby usually nurse?
Cuantos minutos come o chupa su bebe normalmente? How often does your baby nurse?
Cuantos veces toma el pecho el bebe? OR
Con que frequencia toma el pecho el bebe? Are you worried you aren’t making enough milk?
