BirthMatters is a non-profit that believes in birthing at the right time.  The goal of our doula program is to emotionally support young mothers throughout their pregnancy and birth by educating each family to make well-informed, tablets
educated, dosage
and intentional choices to lead healthy lives. “Supporting young families to breastfeed can be a hard task but worth all the time and energy”, Amber, a community doula with BirthMatters says. “It is pure joy seeing a mom change her mind in the birth and choose to breastfeed. I know the difficulties first hand with choosing to breastfeed and share these stories with my moms”.

One of BirthMatters’ priority areas is to provide education and community awareness. BirthMatters receive a small grant to support its billboard campaign. The billboard was designed to increase public awareness regarding improved outcomes with breastfeeding. BirthMatters loves partnering with the S.C. Breastfeeding Coalition and would like to thank the Coalition members for their support- it could not provide the awareness campaign without small grant funds.
